Our Story

 

I’m just a man from Virginia, who’s explored barbecue between both coasts, Canada and Mexico, and overseas, living in beautiful Glenville, New York, and really loves and respects food. The greatest chefs in the world respect the ingredients and make sure that the simple things are not forgotten.

Food tells a story, and at Swaggertown Smoke, I want to tell the story of community. I want everyone to feel a part of what I love about barbecue; getting together with family and friends, playing games and telling jokes, friendly competition, and just forgetting about life for a while. We use the best USDA Prime beef and properly seasoned and non-treated wood in our wood-only-fired offset cookers. When you respect the ingredients and the process, you end up with incredible food and a once in a lifetime experience.
